Window sizes

The overall height does not include the connecting profile. However, it is supplied with the order. The height of the connecting profile is already taken into account during measuring.

The frame extensions you select are made from additional panels. Please note that the total order height and total order width of the window include all frame extensions! When selecting a frame extension marked in red, the overall size of your window is automatically adjusted or changed.

The height of the handles is determined according to the manufacturer's standard and calculated depending on the window height. The window handles are therefore not always positioned centrally. Please contact us if you would like a different height. As standard, the windows have at least 1 or 2 mushroom-head locking points (security points) per turn/tilt sash.

Glazing

Warm edge spacer
The warm edge spacer effectively prevents thermal bridges on windows and has a special insulating effect at the edge of the insulating glass. This prevents heat from escaping through the edge of the glass in winter and reduces the formation of condensation.

Installation

Installation according to ÖNORM B5320

All installation work is carried out strictly in accordance with ÖNORM B5320. This standard, which is based on the German standard DIN 4108 "Thermal insulation and energy economy in buildings - Part 7", requires the on-site sealing of the window joints to be diffusion-proof and the external seal to also be driving-rain-proof. The rule "tighter inside than outside" enables the seal to effectively absorb and dampen the movements of the window profile caused by temperature, wind or vibrations from passing vehicles, etc.
