Ornamental glass
Ornamental glazings are used everywhere where light is needed inside but at the same time, there shouldn't be a clear view inside. This is the case in bathrooms, doors between different rooms, basement doors and windows in offices. Shower cubicles are another usual place for the installation of structural glazing - because thanks to the transparency of the glass the cubicles look larger and at the same time there is still some privacy protection. A very modern example of the use of ornamental glazing is the division of rooms. With this approach, space can be separated in different zones and still there is no loss of light. Often, we have such a division between the living room and kitchen.
Of course, ornamental glazing can have all the benefits of the other types of glazing like the security and insulation qualities. In the case when there is a combination with insulating glass the rough side is towards the inter-space between the panes. In this way, the surface of the ready products will be smooth on both sides and really easy to clean.
