Explanation of terms
Transom profile
The transom profile is connected to the window frames. Thanks to the transom profile double wing windows are divided into parts visually. This means that the transom is fixed and can't be opened with the wing.
A sill connection
A sill connection is a component of the wing. Seen from the outside it looks exactly like the transom profile. However, it isn't fixed, but it rather opens with the window wing. This means that the window isn't separated into several parts.
