Installation anchor
In window construction, the term installation anchor refers to all components used to fasten the window frame within the window opening. There is a wide variety of designs for fastening into masonry, concrete, timber or even into the insulation layer. The choice of installation anchor also depends on the material of the window being fitted - timber, uPVC, metal or combinations of these materials.
